About Us
The Exodus Road (TER) is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating and ending human trafficking worldwide. Since 2012, TER's efforts to investigate claims of human trafficking, undermine anti-human trafficking groups, and end child trafficking have led in the arrest of over 800 traffickers and the rescue of over 1500 survivors, figures that continue to climb daily.
There is no debate: human trafficking must be prevented, and intervening in this crime requires urgent action. That is why The Exodus Road, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, confronts human trafficking directly through extensive efforts to empower law enforcement, equip communities, liberate trafficked individuals, apprehend child traffickers, and provide care and support to trafficking survivors in the United States, India, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, and an undisclosed Latin American country.
Through prevention and training, direct action with police, and victim aftercare, The Exodus Road fights for and supports the most vulnerable among us. This organization's actions serve as an open message to human traffickers worldwide: the needy deserve protection, not exploitation.
The Exodus Road envisions a society in which people are never purchased, sold, or abused.
The Exodus Road team dismantles the shadows of modern-day slavery by collaborating with law enforcement to combat human trafficking, arming communities to protect the vulnerable, and inspiring survivors as they walk into freedom.
TER's mission is not just to provide law enforcement with the resources and training necessary to detect and apprehend traffickers in their communities, but also to generate the finances and awareness necessary to bolster prevention efforts and finally put an end to modern-day slavery.
Founded in Colorado Springs, Colorado by Matt and Laura Parker, The Exodus Road has grown to a global workforce of dedicated, varied individuals.
